Systems Engineer – SE02
Agile Communications, Inc. is a small, dynamic, and growing systems engineering company specializing in design and analysis of mobile, wireless communications and network systems for defense applications. Since the company’s inception in 2000, Agile’s engineers have directly supported the design, development, integration, and testing of leading-edge network solutions for the U.S. Army and other DoD customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Agile is seeking Systems Engineers with experience in the areas of wireless network communications systems engineering including protocol design and analysis, operational architectures and modeling, simulation, and analysis of networks to support Agile’s U.S. Army customers in the Fort Hood, Texas area.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in EE/CS
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience
- Experience with U.S. Army tactical systems including any of the following:
- Tactical terrestrial and SATCOM radio systems
- Network design and router configuration
- Network Management
- Mission command systems
- EW systems
- Requirements and operations
- Computer programming course work or experience in C/C++ or Java a plus
- Course work or practical experience in communications networks, protocols, radio/antenna design and analysis a plus
- Course work or practical experience in modeling and simulation a plus
- Solid communications skills both written and verbal
- Must enjoy technical challenges
