Modeling and Simulation

Answering the right questions about real world tactical networking problems

Customer Focus

Our Modeling & Simulation (M&S) engineers understand that the key to success is maintaining a tight linkage with the end customer. Whether it be a network designer, protocol engineer, or operational unit, our experience allows us to communicate effectively and ensure that customer objectives are being met in the most efficient manner possible.

Development Program Integration

Agile’s M&S team ensures that model Verification & Validation (V&V) is an integrated part of the development process. This philosophy means that V&V of the models is ongoing from the day a project starts, and is not merely an afterthought or a one time effect. Our M&S team also coordinates tightly with Test & Evaluation (T&E) to establish a common test information set and analysis product library. This ensures that data collected from actual system tests can be fed back in to the V&V process as soon as it becomes available. Models can be instrumented with our NetRAT™ system, permitting direct analysis comparisons between simulation and live testing.

Design, Development, and Fielding

The most effective M&S engineers are the ones that have spent time designing, developing, and testing tactical networks. We take pride in a historical perspective derived from our involvement in several decades of evolving tactical network technologies and the array of simulation tools use to support their development and transition to operational venues.
